New Mickey Hart record is pretty intense! I need to listen to it a few more times to really digest it. Most of the tempos are really fast and it’s super dense. The energy level caught me off guard a bit, but it’s nice to be challenged by music sometimes…

Favorite era of Kiss, the late '84 through late '91 years... Great line-up, too with Paul's soaring vocals, Eric Carr's thundering drums and Bruce "The Spruce" Kulick on guitar. Vinnie was a killer songwriter, but a terrible band mate. They made the right choice when it came down to it. Wish Mark St. John hadn't been sidelined by cancer. Would have been interesting to see what kind of player he would have grown into. Dude had tons of raw talent.
Another smoker from the Kulick/Carr era...
